Thundar's Game Room

Welcome to the Thundar's Game Room (TGR). Newly renovated, Thundar's Game Room, located in the lower level of the Memorial Union, with eight bowling lanes with automatic scoring, nine new pool tables, one table tennis platform, one 16-foot shuffleboard table, foosball table, and an air hockey machine. Thundar's Game Room has daily specials every week during the school year to fill your spare time. If you have an idea how to make TGR even better,or anything else, please visit with one of our courteous staff members. We will try to make your ideas happen. After all, this is YOUR Thundar's Game Room. Enjoy!!!

Tuesday

Billiards League

The NDSU 8-Ball Billiards League has been our most popular league for years and has proven to be the jumping off point for many participants who want to play in a national collegiate tournament each summer. This league is open to all NDSU students, staff, and faculty and will be played at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning February 28 and ending Dead Week. Cost is $25 per individual. Participants will be competing for cash prizes with a 90% payout. Participants must register in the Recreation & Outing Center.
Registration ends February 24th.

Bowling League

This league is open to all NDSU students, staff, and faculty. The teams will consist of 2-4 member teams competing for cash prizes. The league will be played at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning February 13 and ending Dead Week. Cost is $75 per team. Participants will be competing for cash prizes with a 90% payout. Participants must register in the Recreation & Outing Center.
Registration ends February 10.

Wednesday

Strike Out Hunger

Bring (2) non-perishable food items per person and get (1) free hour of bowling. Food items will be donated to a local non-for-profit organization. Sponsored in collaboration with the Memorial Union Volunteer Network. Time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm.

Thursday

$2 Cosmic Bowling

Come down to TGR for an out of this universe experience! Brand new cosmic bowling for just $2 an hour! Bring a friend and your student ID and have some fun!” Time: 7:00pm – 10:00pm. Cost: $2 hr/person.
