MPH director invited to speak on a panel at APHA conference

Dr. Donald Warne, MD, MPH, was invited by the American Public Health Association (APHA) and state public health association member to speak on a panel at the Closing General Session of APHA's 141st Annual Meeting & Exposition in Boston, MA.  

This year's annual meeting is focused on the theme "Think Global, Act Local".  The Closing Session, where Dr. Warne will be presenting, will focus on "Improving the Health of the Native People: A Public Health Approach."  

Other speakers on the panel are Dr. Kawika Liu, Staff Physician with the Consolidated Tribal Health Project, Inc. and keynote speaker Dr. Evan Adams, Deputy Provincial Health Officer for Aboriginal Health in British Columbia .  

The annual meeting will be held November 2-6, 2013 at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center.
