First-year MPH student and MPH project manager chosen to serve on seventh cohort of Rebuilders

First-year MPH student Alayna Eagle Shield joins NDSU INBRE Project Manager Pearl Walker along with twenty-two other tribal citizens as part of the seventh cohort of Rebuilders. The seventh cohort of Rebuilders is part of the Native Nation Rebuilders Program funded by the Bush Foundation.

The seventh cohort of Rebuilders is a leadership development program for 

Native American leaders. They built the program for citizens of the 23 Native nations in the foundation's region who have put their talents and interests to work as community leaders and volunteers.

Twenty-four tribal citizens are invited to participate and represent 12 of the 23 regional tribes. There are 15
