MPH Director nominated as White House Champion for Change

Donald Warne, MPH Director, has been nominated as a White House Champion for Change for Public Health and Promotion because of his effort to improve the health of the community.

Warne’s role as a White House Champion will focus on sharing ideas and input on improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities.  The result of helping communities focus on healthy living are the reduction of healthcare cost and people ling healthier and happier lives.  

The Prevention and Public Health Fund provides resources about the Affordable Care Act.  The new only Health Insurance Marketplace will be open in each state on October 1.  The general public can visit http://www.HealthCare.gov to sign up for information and prepare for enrollment.
