Faculty Research Council
The NDSU Faculty Research Council consists of ten faculty members who serve a two-year term. The function and charge of the Faculty Research Council is to provide resources for faculty to succeed in their research and creative activity.
The key priorities of the Council and scope of their responsibilities consist of:
- recommending priorities for NDSU in terms of the research enterprise;
- identifying solutions to reduce or eliminate structural barriers to research;
- serving as reviewers for internal funding opportunities;
- working as needed and when appropriate with the Research and Consulting Committee (whose focus is NDSU policy) for a hand off when needed (i.e., new procedures coming out of policy changes or vice versa); and
- supporting the nature of the research and creative activity at NDSU.
