Do students graduate from NDSU and the TAP program?

Yes. If students are accepted into the TAP program, they will be accepted under a certificate program called College to Career Certificate and will graduate after 3 years if all the required TAP program expectations are completed.

Do students supported by TAP have housing?

Yes, housing is available at NDSU for students supported by the TAP program.

Is there financial aid options for students in the TAP program?

At this time, we are not able to provide financial aid options, although families who qualify are able to take student loans through the Bank of North Dakota.

Do I have to live on campus if I'm a part of the TAP program?

No, students are not required to live on campus. We do encourage campus living as it really provides the most learning and support for students to work on independent and social goals.

How long is the TAP program?

The Transition and Access certificate program is set up as a three year program. However we understand that it may take longer to complete and meet your social, employment, and academic goals.

What classes do I take?

We provide a guide for classes and there are 6 required courses to complete the certificate program. However, you are able to browse through the NDSU catalogue and find courses of interest.
