Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster Session Format

All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters.

Presenters should be prepared to:

  • deliver a concise 3-5 minute overview of their work,

  • discuss their findings with judges and attendees,

  • answer scientific questions regarding the project.

Presenters are expected to remain at their posters during the assigned judging session.

Poster Dimensions

Posters must be in landscape orientation.

Maximum dimensions:

  • 48 inches (width)

  • 36 inches (height)

Posters exceeding these dimensions may not fit the assigned boards.

Recommended Poster Structure

Suggested sections:

  • Title & Authors

  • Introduction/Background

  • Objective/Hypothesis

  • Methods

  • Results

  • Conclusions

  • Acknowledgements and/or Funding

  • References (optional)

Design Recommendations

  • Prioritize figures over excessive text

  • Use high-resolution images

  • Maintain visual hierarchy

  • Ensure readability from approximately 4–6 feet away

  • Avoid overcrowding

  • Use consistent formatting throughout the poster
