Program Overview
North Dakota Governor's School is a state-legislated, summer academic residential program. For four weeks, every other summer, North Dakota's best and brightest students, chosen from a competitive pool of applicants, live and study on the NDSU campus.
Only 50 scholars are accepted each cycle, ensuring an intensive and personalized experience. Students may select their preferred pathway; however, final placement into Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is determined by the admissions committee based on each student’s strengths and the overall competitiveness of their application.
