NDSU had seven student-athletes named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Football Team.
NDSU safeties Cole Wisniewski and Sam Jung, linebackers Logan Kopp and Luke Weerts, defensive tackles Eli Mostaert and Jaxon Duttenhefer, and offensive guard Jake Kubas made the CSC Academic All-District team.
Nominees must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better while competing in at least 90% of the institution's games or starting in at least 66% of the games.
Wisniewski, Jung, Kopp, Kubas and Mostaert advanced to the national ballot for the CSC Academic All-America Team, which will be announced in January.
