SHARE

A one-day flu shot clinic has been scheduled for all NDSU students, faculty and staff.

The clinic will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Prairie Rose room. The shot protects against the seasonal flu.

Shots are $20 each and may be paid by cash or check. Students may bill the cost to their student account. Students who are unable to attend the clinic may make an appointment for a flu shot at the Student Health Service by calling 701-231-7331.

For employees on the NDPERS health insurance plan, the cost of the flu shot can be partially reimbursed. To request reimbursement, send your receipt including member identification number, which can be found on your insurance card, to Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. Receipts can be faxed to 866-280-0094 or mailed to 4510 13th Av. SW, Fargo, N.D., 58121.

Employees who obtain their flu shot at a preferred provider will have the cost covered in full.

For more information about the clinic, contact Student Health Service at 701-231-7331. Information about the flu is available on the Wellness Center website at www.ndsu.edu/studenthealthservice.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
