The NDSU chapter of Phi Kappa Phi is hosting a book drive for Fort Berthold Community College.

The drive is scheduled from March 5-April 29. Any type of book will be accepted and can be dropped off in FLC 210K, the Equity Diversity Center in Alba Bales House, the Graduate School and Main Library.

“Our goal is to fill their library with a wide range of books and share with them our love for learning,” said Anita Welch, assistant professor of education and NDSU Phi Kappa Phi president. “We are calling on the NDSU community to rise to the occasion once more and donate new or gently used books.”

In 2013, the chapter collected more than 2,000 books for Turtle Mountain Community College. For more information, contact Welch at anita.welch@ndsu.edu.

Phi Kappa Phi is the largest academic honor society that recognizes and promotes academic excellence in all fields of higher education.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
