Jacobs, who will begin his duties May 27, has directed the financial aid office at Bismarck State College since 2000. With more than 20 years of financial aid experience, he also has held positions at the University of Mary, Minot State University and Valley City State University.

“I am thrilled to welcome Jeff Jacobs to NDSU as our new director of Student Financial Services. Jeff is positioned to be effective on day one,” said Laura Oster-Aaland, dean of enrollment management. “He has significant experience in the financial aid profession within the state of North Dakota, as well as leadership in the financial aid professional association at the national level. Most importantly, Jeff is student focused and committed to carrying out this important position with the highest integrity.”

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
