Scholarships available for transportation students

Five undergraduate scholarships are available through the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute for students with an interest in transportation. 

The scholarships are open to current NDSU juniors and seniors and will be awarded for the 2015-16 academic year.

The Charles E. Herman Scholarship recognizes academic achievement and promotes the education of transportation students with a preference to women and minorities at NDSU. The NDSU Development Foundation's Charles E. Herman Scholarship Endowment provides funding for one $2,000 scholarship.

The Paul E.R. Abrahamson Transportation Scholarship recognizes outstanding students at NDSU with an interest in the transportation and logistics of moving agricultural products. The Mountain-Plains Consortium through the University Transportation Centers Program of the U.S. Department of Transportation provides funding for two $1,500 scholarships.

The Transportation Engineering Scholarship recognizes academic achievement and promotes the education of transportation students at NDSU The Mountain-Plains Consortium through the University Transportation Centers Program of the U.S. Department of Transportation provides funding for two $1,500 scholarships.
