Three join University Police and Safety Office

Three people recently joined the staff of the University Police and Safety Office. They are Tammy Aronson, David Oksendahl and Murray Ridler.

Aronson joined the Safety Office in December as a safety and compliance specialist. Prior to NDSU, she worked for MeritCare Health Systems in various roles, gaining knowledge in regulation standards and experience with national regulatory agencies. Her experience has been with facility services, safety services and environmental services. Aronson also has worked as a lecturer at NDSU in Facilities Management.

Oksendahl joined the NDSU Police Department as a lieutenant in January. Oksendahl’s primary duties involve patrol and tactical operations. He has more than 12 years of law enforcement experience in North Dakota and Minnesota.

Ridler joined the NDSU Police Department as a patrol officer in November. Murray comes to NDSU with more than seven years of law enforcement experience, with six of those years working at another university police department. Murray graduated from Hibbing Community College in Minnesota.
