Information Technology Council convenes

NDSU’s Information Technology Council has been convened for the academic year. The group is the primary advisory body for IT strategic planning, policy development and service review for the university, and it serves in a consultative capacity to the vice president for IT.

Council membership is defined by Article III, Section I, of its bylaws. The current membership includes:

• Marc Wallman, vice president, IT Division

• Seth Bisbee, executive commissioner of technology, Student Government

• Matt Chaussee, chair, Staff Senate IT Committee

• Edward Deckard, faculty representative

• Kathryn Gordon, president, Faculty Senate

• Dean Gross, faculty representative

• Spencer Moir, president, Student Government

• Larry Peterson, interim dean, NDSU Libraries

• Robert Pieri, faculty representative

• David Wittrock, member-at-large

• Scott Wood, deans’ representative

• Jason Blosser, assistant vice president, Information Technology Services, ex officio member

• Joan Chapek, assistant vice president, Telecommunications and Emergency Technologies, ex officio member

• Amber Rasche, IT communications coordinator, ex officio member

• Theresa Semmens, chief information security officer, ex officio member

• Steve Sobiech, assistant vice president, Enterprise Computing and Infrastructure, ex officio member

• CeCe Rohwedder, assistant to the vice president for IT, ex officio member
