The annual NDSU Homecoming show, presented by the Blue Key Honor Society, is scheduled Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Festival Concert Hall. This year’s theme is “PokemonGo Bison.”

The Homecoming show is one of Blue Key’s longest running traditions – the show is celebrating its 40th year. The event is a variety show consisting of acts from various student organizations across campus.

Tickets are $5 and will be available the week before Homecoming until showtime from any Blue Key member or at contact tables in the Memorial Union.

The society annually selects a non-profit organization to support and proceeds from this year’s show will be donated to Valley Senior Services.

“This marks our 40th year, but the focus has remained the same – to make a lasting impact in our community,” explained Aaron Weber, Blue Key president and senior agricultural communication major from Wishek, North Dakota. “We’re pleased Valley Senior Services will be this year’s recipient. Valley Senior Services provides valuable services to our region’s seniors, allowing them to remain independent and enjoy better health. The work they do truly makes an impact, and we are more than happy to support their mission in any way we can.”

The NDSU Blue Key chapter is limited to no more than 35 members. Their selection is based on dedication to scholarship, leadership and service. The chapter was formed in 1927, making it one of the oldest organizations on campus.

Blue Key strives to recognize persons who have contributed to NDSU and the state of North Dakota through the Distinguished Educator Award and Doctor of Service Award. Other activities sponsored by Blue Key include the NDSU/SDSU Dakota Marker Trophy, Bison Brevities Talent Show and student scholarships.

As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
