The NDSU Criminal Justice Club, in collaboration with the President’s Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs, is set to host “Chasing the Dragon: The Life of an Opiate Addict” Friday, April 7, at 1 p.m. in the Memorial Union’s Century Theatre.
During the two-hour event, the documentary film, “Chasing the Dragon,” will be shown and followed by an expert panel discussion. Some of the panelists are scheduled to include Chris Myers of the U.S. Attorney’s office; Mark Hardy, executive director of North Dakota Pharmacy Board; Marvis Doster, director of clinical services at ShareHouse; and representatives of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Fargo Police Department and NDSU Campus Police.
North Dakota First Lady Kathryn Burgum also is scheduled to attend.
