NDSU first baseman Vanessa Anderson and pitcher Jacquelyn Sertic were named to the 2017 Summit League Softball All-Academic Team announced May 31. The nine-member team is voted on by the institution's faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors. Sertic was selected for the second straight season.

Anderson, a sophomore from Rochester, Minnesota, maintains a 3.88 grade-point average majoring in exercise science. She was named to the Summit League all-tournament team.
