Bruce Bollinger, vice president for finance and administration, has announced Katie Tarter has accepted the position as director of NDSU Dining.

Tarter has extensive experience working in various dining positions. She most recently was the executive director of Auxiliary Enterprises at the North Dakota State College of Science. Prior to that, Tarter was an assistant director of dining at Eastern Illinois University and held various positions at Purdue University, including operations manager of their Central Production Kitchen, food service director for the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, dining court supervisor/operations supervisor and assistant catering manager

“Please welcome Katie to NDSU as she assumes the full-time position as director of NDSU Dining,” Bollinger said, noting Tarter had been serving part-time as interim director. “I am also grateful to NDSCS for sharing Katie with us, as it has been a challenge for them and for Katie splitting her time with us.”
