Sustainability project featured at NDSU Bookstore

SHARE

The NDSU Bookstore has teamed up with students in the Department of Apparel, Retail Merchandising and Design to promote a special sustainability project.

Students in a course taught by Jaeha Lee, associate professor of apparel, retail merchandising and design, were invited to create events with a sustainability theme. One of the identified projects focused on the sustainability efforts of Champion, one of the Bookstore's clothing vendors. Champion uses recycled bottles to create a line of sweatshirts.

The NDSU Bookstore is set to host an event Tuesday, Nov. 21, where in-store customers with five recyclable bottles will receive $5 off on a Champion purchase. In addition to the discount, the first 50 customers will receive a Champion-branded T-shirt.

More details can be found on the NDSU Bookstore website.
