Wayne Tesmer, NDSU alumnus and former longtime financial aid director, has died.
Tesmer, 86, died June 16 at Kettering Memorial Hospital in Kettering, Ohio. A memorial service will be scheduled in Fargo at a future date.
Tesmer was an Air Force veteran who graduated from NDSU in 1964. Shortly after, he became NDSU’s first director of Student Financial Aid – a position he held for 32 years.
Tesmer and his wife, Marian, recently moved to Centerville, Ohio.
