Homecoming Week events just around the corner

Mark your calendars for NDSU’s Homecoming Week Sept. 17-22.

“NDSU Homecoming celebrates our contributions as a Top 100 public research university while we enjoy successful athletics in a great community,” said Matt Skoy and Sara Wald, Homecoming Committee chairs.

Students, alumni, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in all of the week’s activities.

Major events include:

Monday, Sept. 17

11 a.m.-1 p.m. 

Homecoming BBQ and Pep Fest, Administration Avenue west of the Memorial Union

• Pep Fest starts at noon

• Free and open to all(while supplies last)

Tuesday, Sept. 18

8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 

Serve with the Herd – Community service project day

• Contact the NDSU Volunteer Network at 701-231-1055 to sign up.

Thursday, Sept. 20

7:30 p.m. 

Homecoming Show and Coronation, Festival Concert Hall

• Sponsored by Blue Key Honor Society and Campus Attractions

Friday, Sept. 21

10 a.m. 

President Dean L. Bresciani's State of the University Address, Festival Concert Hall 

• Live streaming video is scheduled to begin at 9:55 a.m.

11:30 a.m. 

Athletic Hall of Fame luncheon, Sanford Health Athletic Complex

5:30 p.m. 

Homecoming Parade, downtown Fargo

7 p.m. 

Bison volleyball vs. University of South Dakota, Bentson/Bunker Fieldhouse

Saturday, Sept. 22

8 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Tailgating for the Homecoming football game, Fargodome

• All fans are welcome to tailgate.

1 p.m. 

Kickoff NDSU Bison vs. University of Delaware, Fargodome

A number of alumni reunions also are being planned.
