NDSU receives CASE awards

NDSU was recognized with three awards at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VI “On Target” annual conference in St. Louis. The presentations were made during the district’s awards dinner on Jan. 11.

NDSU received a Gold in the “Excellence in Alumni Programming – Student Advancement Programming” category for Senior Day, a Bronze for “Excellence in Alumni Special Events – Community Event” for the Conversations Across the Land tour and a Silver for “Excellence in Communications-Overall Publications – Presidents/Annual Report” for the 2008 annual report.

"The awards are a great recognition of the outstanding efforts of our people at NDSU,” said Sherri Schmidt, associate executive director of the NDSU Alumni Association. “Our university has a strong history of success in the CASE District VI award competition, and we're delighted to be acknowledged again this year by such a respected organization."

CASE District VI includes institutions of higher education from North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Wyoming.
