NDSU Staff Senate will offer four personal and professional development presentations at Discover U 2010 on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom. The cost for staff to attend is $20 and includes breakfast and lunch.
Discover U 2010 will include presentations from the Village Business Institute and Patty Corwin of Corwin Communications. The four presentations will offer insight and strategies for communication between genders, negative attitudes and behaviors, handling change with humor and emotional intelligence.
Discover U is an annual staff development-focused workshop organized by the NDSU Staff Senate. An official Discover U registration form and schedule will be mailed to all NDSU staff and will be posted at www.ndsu.edu/staff_senate.
