NDSU music is scheduled to host the inaugural Women’s Choral Festival on Friday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. in Festival Concert Hall. The event, organized by Charlette Moe, lecturer at NDSU, consists of more than 200 female singers from throughout the region and features choirs from NDSU (Cantemus) and Concordia College (Bel Canto), the Fargo North Women’s Choir and the Lake Agassiz Girls Choir. The concert is free and open to the public.

“We are thrilled to host an event which features female singers ranging in age from 12 to 23,” Moe says. “We are pleased to not only host the choirs on our campus, but to be a part of an amazing treble-voiced choral sound.”

The choirs will perform a variety of pieces including works by Johannes Brahms, Randall Stroupe and Rollo Dilworth.”
