The NDSU Safety Office is offering a training session for people who prepare and package hazardous materials for transportation on Thursday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Memorial Union Lark room.
If your department sends hazardous materials off campus, the Department of Transportation requires people who prepare and package hazardous materials for shipment to be trained within 90 days of employment and thereafter every three years. Departments are responsible for preparing and packaging hazardous materials that they are to ship.
