Summer and fall textbook adoption deadlines approaching

SHARE

NDSU textbook adoptions are due Friday, March 12, for summer semester and Friday, March 26, for fall semester. The deadline will precede registration to allow enough time to get as many used textbooks as possible for students from used book wholesalers and during book buyback time. By getting adoptions in on time, you may be saving students some money and you will be complying with the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the new federal law stating that adoptions should be in before registration begins.

In a continued effort to go green, textbook and course material adoptions should be placed via Internet, textbook adoptions will be taken by phone and e-mail if there is a problem with the online order process at www.ndsubookstore.com. Click on the Textbooks link, then click on faculty info in the green box at the top of the page. Call 1-8015 for departmental user ID, password and other information on how to adopt books online. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when it posts to our system.

If any faculty or department administrative assistants would like a refresher on how to place book orders, contact Carl Wichman at 1-8015. An online adoption tutorial also is available at www.ndsubookstore.com/SiteText.aspx?id=489. To receive a hard copy of the adoption form, call Wichman.
