The Office of International Programs is sponsoring a passport drive scheduled for Wednesday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Memorial Union Prairie Rose room. Applications are taken only by appointment.

With the help of U.S. Postal Service representatives, you can apply for a first-time passport or renew your old one. First-time applicants must bring a certified copy of their birth certificate; driver’s license, military or government issued identification; and a completed application.

Print and complete the application ahead of time to expedite your appointment, but wait to sign it until asked by a Postal Service Representative. Applications are available at www.usps.com/passport/welcome.htm?from=home_wouldyouliketo&page=applyforpassport.

Payment is $75 in check or money order to State Department; $25 in cash, check or money order to the Postal Service plus photos; and the expedited option is $60 to State Department and $33 to the Postal Service both ways.

Passport quality photos are available the day of the drive for $15.
