Farewell event planned for Halbur

The NDSU College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences is planning a farewell reception for Kimberly Halbur, associate dean for student affairs, on Wednesday, April 14, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., in Sudro Hall, room 20.

Halbur has been named associate dean for diversity affairs and associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral health in the School of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. She will begin her new position in June.

Halbur joined NDSU in 2004 and served in both administrative and faculty roles. She has overseen and created student affairs programs and published two textbooks, including the first cultural competence textbook in the field of pharmacy practice.
