Joshua Onken has been hired as assistant director of apartments in the Department of Residence Life. He will provide leadership for and oversee all aspects of 591 university-owned apartment units. He also will supervise seven complex managers. Apartment complexes under his responsibility include University Village, Niskanen Expansion and Bison Court.
A native of Wood Lake, Minn., Onken earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from South Dakota State University, Brookings, and recently completed his master’s degree in educational leadership from NDSU.
Onken previously was a hall director in the Living Learning Center.
