David Swenson, associate professor of visual arts, has been invited to participate in an exhibition at the Gaddis Geeslin Gallery at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Swenson is collaborating with Min Kim Park, the 2009 NDSU Rosenquist Artist in Residence, for the exhibition. The collaboration is a continuation of Park’s “Zummarella” project amalgamated with the idea of psychological portraits. Swenson will cast large-scale heads out of paper and Park will create video and large-scale photos to accompany the sculptures. The exhibition is open Oct. 7-30.
