Germans from Russia documentary premieres

The sixth documentary in Prairie Public's television series about the legacy of the Germans from Russia premiered Oct. 6. The documentary is a co-production of Prairie Public Broadcasting and the NDSU Libraries’ Germans from Russia Heritage Collection. Michael M. Miller, GRHC director and bibliographer, is an executive producer for the documentary.

In the documentary, five representative Germans from Russia share their insights on the process of becoming American.

Major funding for the documentary was provided by Arthur E. and Cleora (Reuscher) Flegel, NDSU Libraries' Germans from Russia Heritage Collection and the members of Prairie Public.
