Halloween costume contest at NDSU Bookstore, Memorial Union
The NDSU Bookstore will host a Halloween costume contest on Friday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Memorial Union bookstore location. Photos of people in their costumes will be taken and judged at the end of the day. NDSU Bookstore gift cards will be awarded for scariest, funniest and best group costumes. Photos will then be posted on NDSU Bookstore’s Facebook page. A link to the page is at www.ndsubookstore.com.
The Dead Merchandise sale also will be held at the NDSU Bookstore on Oct. 29. Grab bags will be available for $1.99 while supplies last.
Book event for children at NDSU Bookstore at Cityscapes
The NDSU Bookstore at Cityscapes is planning a children’s story hour and activity event for Thursday, Oct. 28, at 3 p.m. The featured story will be “Scaredy Cat Splat.” Participants also will make a paper plate scarecrow.
