Khan recieves Distinguished Service Award for sugarbeet research

Mohamed F. R. Khan, extension sugarbeet specialist and associate professor of plant pathology at NDSU and the University of Minnesota, received the 2010 Distinguished Service Award presented by the Sugarbeet Research and Education Board of Minnesota and North Dakota. Khan was presented with the award at the joint annual meetings of the Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association and American Crystal Sugar Company. He was recognized for his research contributions in managing diseases of sugarbeet and for planning, conducting and evaluating educational programs for sugarbeet growers in North Dakota and Minnesota.
