NDSU’s provost search committee meets Jan. 19

North Dakota State University’s provost search committee has scheduled its first meeting on Jan. 19 to review hiring policies and procedures and to develop a timeline for filling the position. The meeting will take place in the president’s conference room in 102 Old Main at 9 a.m.

The 17-member committee is charged with forwarding to the president candidates for NDSU’s Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, who will serve as the chief academic officer of NDSU, and provide increased coordination of all university scholarly and instructional activities. The vice presidents for Research, Creative Activities and Technology Transfer; Agriculture and University Extension; Information Technology; and Equity Diversity and Global Outreach will report to the president through the provost.
