Attending veterinarian named to role on North Dakota board

NDSU attending veterinarian Neil Dyer has been named consulting veterinarian for the North Dakota State Board of Animal Health.

Housed within the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, the board is composed of veterinarians and animal experts from across the state. The group meets quarterly to address issues and enforce policy related to the animal industry, auction markets and brand inspection in the state.

Dyer earned his bachelor’s degree in zoology from NDSU and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and master’s degree in veterinary pathology from Iowa State University.
