The Native American Student Association will host an Indian taco sale on Nov. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Equity and Diversity Center. An Indian taco and drink may be purchased for $7. A vegetarian option substituting refried beans for meat also will be available.
All proceeds will go toward the organization’s planned events, such as reaching out to high school students and attending conferences.
Members of the Native American Student Association and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society plan to attend the National American Indian Science and Engineering Society Conference in Minneapolis Nov. 10-12. The conference provides networking and professional development opportunities for Native American students who study science, math, education and technology fields.
