Dean of libraries candidate open forums scheduled

The first of three campus interviews with the finalists for the dean of libraries position is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22 in the Memorial Union Anishinaabe Theatre.

Candidate Hallie Pritchett, current interim dean of libraries at NDSU, will give a 20-minute open forum presentation followed by a question and answer session.  The open forum also will be available via Zoom

Hallie Pritchett’s vitae and cover letter can be viewed on the dean of libraries candidate information website. Information is available for all candidates.

In addition to the open forum, faculty and staff can participate in either of two sessions with Pritchett. These will be the same opportunity and attending both is not required.

Meeting I:  Tuesday, March 22 from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Library Conference Room 110. This will be in-person only.

Meeting II: Wednesday, March 23 from 9:00-9:30 am, via Zoom

The remaining finalists will hold open forums the following dates and times:

Thursday, March 24, 2 p.m., Jolie Graybill, assistant director of digital initiatives and metadata education department and the Minnesota Digital Library, Minitex, University of Minnesota Libraries, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Tuesday, March 29, 2:00 pm, Bella Gerlich, former associate vice president for the library and learning commons, Goucher College and dean of libraries, Texas Tech University.
