NDSU grape research highlighted at growers meeting

Several NDSU specialists presented at the North Dakota Grape Growers Association conference and annual meeting on Feb. 4 at the Radisson Inn in Bismarck, N.D.

Harlene Hatterman-Valenti, NDSU high-value crops specialist, presented on crop optimization through weed control. Greg Cook, NDSU chemistry and biochemistry department professor and chair, discussed wine chemistry.

John Stenger, NDSU graduate student, discussed the NDSU grape research program and Bob Bertsch, NDSU Agriculture Communication web technology specialist, presented on electronic media marketing.
