Student publication receives award

NDSU communication students received a North Dakota Professional Communicators award at the association’s banquet on April 27 in Bismarck, N.D. 

The award recognizes the excellent student work in creation, design and publication of Fuel, a magazine devoted to biofuel and renewable energy issues in the Northern Plains. The 44-page magazine was created by journalism students with supervision of Communication faculty members Ross Collins and Elizabeth Crawford. The free publication is available both in hard-copy (by contacting Collins) and online by visiting http://tinyurl.com/cgg5pgm.

The contributing students include Danielle Boldenow, Carley Bishoff, Isaac Bolin, Jenna Currie, Jill Falck, Katie Johnson, Brittany Negaard, Austin Ressler, Tyler Ressler, Levi Satterlee, Liz Sienkaniec, Shelby Sorenson, Toni Tollefson and Jessie Topp.
