Members of the NDSU Police Department do their best to provide services in a fair, factual and friendly manner. Many times, our employees perform their duties in an exemplary manner, exceeding expectations. If an officer exceeds your expectations, we want to hear about it so we can give them the recognition they deserve. 

We also need to hear if an employee/officer did not meet your expectations. Members of the public who wish to file a complaint, for either poor service, officer misconduct, or concern over a policy or practice are encouraged to seek the assistance of a police supervisor. By working with a supervisor, it may be possible for the problem to be resolved or explained to the satisfaction of all concerned. If not, the police supervisor may assist in obtaining information necessary to initiate a full inquiry into the complaint.
