Residence Life partners with Vitalant each semester to host a campus blood drive—an opportunity for the NDSU community to make a life-saving impact.
Blood Drive Reminders
- Save Time with FastTrack – Complete your FastTrack the day of your appointment (after 4 a.m.) to save up to 20 minutes. Be sure to bring the QR code for staff to scan. Complete FastTrack Here
- Bring ID – A photo ID or donor ID is required to donate.
- Eat & Hydrate – Eat a healthy, low-fat meal within two hours of donating and drink 8–16 ounces of water or other non-caffeinated, non-alcoholic beverages one hour before your appointment.

There’s no substitute for blood—it’s essential for life. It delivers oxygen and nutrients, fights infections, and heals wounds. When you donate, you make a difference for patients and their families.
