Brad Clemenson
Senior Creative Director

Brad earned his bachelor's degree in mass communication from NDSU. He joined the University Relations staff in 1998 as a writer; in 2001 he joined the Publications Services office as a graphic designer and is now the art director. Brad is a past president of the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota and a past governor of the AAF’s eighth district, which encompasses North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Lindsay Condry
Marketing Coordinator

Lindsay joined the University Relations team in August 2022. She began at NDSU as Marketing and Programs Coordinator for the Libraries in 2017, and prior to that worked as a graphic designer at a local advertising agency. Lindsay is originally from Horace, N.D., and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2010.

Rebekka DeVries
Senior Graphic Designer

Rebekka joined the University Relations staff in April 2005. She is a 1998 graduate of North Dakota State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications and a minor in music. She has worked locally in both the printing and advertising industries.

Justin Eiler

Justin joined the University Relations team in August 2015. His previous experience includes writing, photography and design work at agency and in-house settings. Originally from central Minnesota, he earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Sonya Goergen
Senior Director of Marketing

Sonya joined North Dakota State University in 2009. She earned her bachelor’s degree with a triple major in communication, English writing and apparel and design from Concordia College, and her master’s degree in mass communication from NDSU. Her prior experience includes teaching and working in public relations and marketing in education, health care and manufacturing industries.

Heath Hotzler
Communication Coordinator

Heath, who joined the University Relations staff as a writer in July 2013, earned his bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He worked as a sports reporter at the Mesabi Daily News in Minnesota, before moving to a similar position at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead from 2001-2012.

Justin Johnson
Web Developer

Justin joined the University Relations team in May 2023. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Prior to joining NDSU, Justin worked in digital agencies as a web developer and designer. His previous experience also include news television production and mental health counseling.

Brody Katka
Video Coordinator

Brody Katka joined the University Relations team in February 2022. Before coming to NDSU, Brody graduated from the Defense Information School with a certificate in Mass Communications and served four years in the United States Air Force as a videographer and public affairs specialist.

Gabrielle Lommel

Gabrielle joined the University Relations team in August 2023. She graduated from Concordia College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in global studies. Prior to joining NDSU, Gabrielle held various positions in community organizations, local government and higher ed. Her most recent position was as the sustainability coordinator at Concordia College.

Assistant to the Vice President

Amy joined the University Relations staff in October 2017.  She has been at NDSU since 1988, most recently working for the Division of Student Affairs as the Assistant to the Vice President. A Fargo native, she attended Moorhead State Community and Technical College prior to beginning work at NDSU.
