Rural Leadership North Dakota (RLND) Class X embarked on their 2023-2025 journey during an immersive Orientation Seminar in Bismarck from November 15-18, 2023. RLND Seminar 7 brought Class X to Bismarck for an in-depth exploration of state leadership in agriculture and rural policies. From committee hearings at the Capitol to a hands-on exploration of ND agriculture policy, and preparing for their international seminar to Ghana, Class X embraced the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Highlights included a discussion with Governor Kelly Armstrong, a panel on animal agriculture policy, and a cultural preview with authentic Ghanaian cuisine.

Framed by the theme From Community Engagement to Future Leadership, the seminar celebrated resilience, reflection, and a shared commitment to shaping North Dakota’s future.
The RLND Graduation Gala on November 17 marked the culmination of Class IX's four-year journey, honoring achievements and commemorated two decades of RLND's impactful presence in North Dakota. The evening featured a social hour, spirited fundraising through a silent auction and ticket sales for a mystery travel suitcase, and recognized the outstanding contributions of Class IX members. The RLND Council presented two awards and over $3,000 was raised for RLNDAA.
