Join us for a morning in the field to explore the latest research and management strategies for dry bean production in North Dakota. This interactive field day will feature guided plot tours, research updates, and practical recommendations from NDSU Extension specialists.

Walk through the NDSU dry bean breeding nursery with Dr. Juan Osorno, NDSU Dry Bean Breeder, and get a firsthand look at promising new varieties currently under development. Learn about breeding objectives, upcoming releases, and the traits that will shape the future of dry bean production.

🌿 Nitrogen Management in Dry Beans
Join Dr. Ana Carcedo, NDSU Broadleaf Crop Agronomist, for a discussion on efficient nitrogen management in dry beans. Learn how to optimize nitrogen use, improve crop performance, and maximize profitability while maintaining sustainable production practices.

🌾 Weed Management Updates
Stay current on the latest weed management recommendations with Dr. Joe Ikley, NDSU Extension Weed Specialist. This session will cover effective strategies for managing troublesome weeds, herbicide stewardship, and integrated weed management practices.
