NDSU’s FORWARD project is scheduled to sponsor a training session for faculty search committee members on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Memorial Union Hidatsa room. Registration for the session should be completed at www.ndsu.edu/forward/.
Current search committee members are particularly encouraged to attend the sessions. The training includes information on procedural aspects of the search process, as well as research-based information addressing the ways that bias can influence the recruitment and screening of applicants in a search and strategies for overcoming bias.
