Assistant professor to take part in BeethovenFest performances

SHARE

Chelsea Pace, assistant professor of movement in the Department of Theatre Arts, will join area artists to present a new performance piece as part of this weekend’s community event BeethovenFest.

Pace and local performance artists Colin Holter and Jessica Narum are scheduled to present “Muss es sein” Feb. 6-8 from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Fargo Public Library’s main library.

Rather than present the established work of Beethoven, Pace, Holter, Narum and area artists have created an environmental sonic performance with movement that draws on the classical composer’s work as an improviser and innovator.

The events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children less than 10 years old. For more information about the event, visit www.fargolibrary.org.
