NDSU’s 800 Café is scheduled to serve a “Spring Spectacular” lunch on Thursday, March 3, and Friday, March 4, in the Food Production Complex on the third floor of the Katherine K. Burgum Family Life Center. Seating will be from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The menu for the meal is below:

·       Bok choy and potato soup garnished with green onion and Breadsmith Italian bread.

·       Apple chicken salad garnished with avocado, cranberries and homemade parsley vinaigrette dressing.

·       Raspberry spring frost topped with a mint leaf and fresh raspberries.

Dietetics students, Kjersten Lemke and Shanley Seil, will manage the meal and their classmates will serve it.

The cost is $10 per person and includes beverages. Four-meal punch cards are available for $35. Cash or check are acceptable forms of payment.

Reservations may be made here.

Walk-ins are welcomed, but reservations are preferred due to limited seating. The café is open to the public and parking is available in NDSU’s visitor lot.

The 800 Café is operated by NDSU dietetic students and will be open for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays, March 3 through May 6. Sherri Nordstrom Stastny, associate professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences, is the class instructor.
