Graduate students represent NDSU at Legislative Showcase

Four graduate students represented NDSU during the North Dakota University System Legislative Showcase held at the State Capitol Building in Bismarck, North Dakota, on March 27.

The showcase is hosted by the Board of Higher Education biennially during legislative sessions to give legislators an opportunity to see how the system contributes to North Dakota’s people, culture and economy.

The NDSU graduate students who went to Bismarck include:

• Jasmine Cutter, range science

• Matthew Confeld, pharmaceutical sciences

• AliReza Rahimi, coatings and polymeric materials

• Kutay Yilmaz, plant sciences

All 11 North Dakota University System campuses participated in the event.
