Master of Public Health program nationally ranked for affordability

NDSU’s Master of Public Health program has been ranked among the “25 Most Affordable Online MPH Programs for 2021,” by MPH Online.

“We strive to provide a high-quality program that is student focused to prepare future public health professionals who make a difference around the world,” said Pamela Jo Johnson, chair of the Department of Public Health. “We offer an accredited MPH program, both online and on campus, with specializations in epidemiology, infectious diseases, community health sciences and food safety, as well as certificate and accelerated programs. Nearly 90 percent of our graduates from around the world are employed in public health, with another 6 percent pursuing further education.”

MPH Online ranked NDSU fifth in the nation.

“Online MPH programs have become standard for the field, giving busy working professionals a convenient way to enhance their careers. Programs like yours make it possible for professionals to advance the field of public health without burying themselves in debt,” said Sam MacArthur, MPH Online lead editor.

NDSU is a member of the Association of Schools and Programs for Public Health and the MPH program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.

NDSU also offers accelerated bachelor's to master’s degree options, a certificate program in public health and a dual degree option. In addition to graduate programs, the Bachelor of Science in health services is offered by the NDSU College of Health Professions. An undergraduate minor in public health also is available.

As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
